Not sure how to get to the Condon Shell? Can I bring a cooler? We've got answers to some frequently asked questions.
How do I get there?
A: The Condon Shell is right off Rt. 93, the Medford Sq exit which makes it easy if you are driving and there is a parking lot. But there are also very convenient MBTA options.
On the T– For Red Line go to Harvard Sq Station and take Bus 96 to Medford Sq. For Orange Line go to Wellington Station and take Bus 134 to Medford Sq. Once arriving in Medford Sq. walk behind Sq towards the water, cross river bridge and the Condon Shell is across the street on Rt 16. A very easy 5 minute walk!
From Boston and points South: 93N to Exit 31 towards Arlington. Stay straight to go on Rt. 16W/Mystic Valley Pkwy. After approximately 1 mile you will see venue on your left. Parking lot is on the left hand side.
From points North: Take 93S to Exit 32 Medford Sq. Take 1st exit off rotary onto Salem St/60W. Stay to the Left; that becomes Main St. Merge onto Rt. 16W/Mystic Valley Pkwy. After about 3/10 of a mile you will see parking on left.
Limited parking is available so carpool if you can (it’s also Greener!)
Can I bring a blanket/chairs to sit on?
A: Yes, absolutely. In fact we encourage you to get as comfortable as possible to watch a day of great bands.
Can I bring a cooler?
A: Yes you may! There will be some vendors selling food and drink, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
May I bring alcohol?
A: No. But we will have a beer and wine garden set up selling wine and beer to attendees who have proof of ID over 21 years of age.
Do I need money?
A: It’s not a bad idea as there will be food and beverage for sale. There will also be merchandise from the bands and Radio 929 available.
Are there ATMs?
A: No. Consider stopping at the bank before you arrive.
Is this a kid friendly event?
A:Yes! Children are welcome with adult supervision. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around. Plus we’ll have activities to keep the little ones occupied also, face painting and spin art.
Are there restroom facilities?
A: Yes! There will be portable facilities scattered throughout the property for your convenience. |
